January Highlights

The month of January was filled with fun. Here are a few of the highlights:

We attended Ingrid’s birthday party at Skateland. Even Mommy and Daddy joined in on the skating fun. It has been a while since we’ve been on skates, but we learned it sort of comes back to you! Emma had no problem fitting in with all the "big girls." We learned that the Disney Princess phase can last for years! At least, we'll get our money's worth out of those toys and I won't have to redecorate her room for years! Ryan and Riley discovered a hunting arcade game at the roller rink. That was the end of skating!

We took Rachel’s clan to Grandpa and Grandma’s house to go sledding at Old Smokey. Daddy gave us rides on the snowmobile and Grandpa even gave Grandma a ride. We were shocked by her willingness to take the risk. We all had a blast and the 30 degree weather really helped!

Aunite Sunnie and uncle Dave came for a visit. We celebrated Auntie’s birthday and she surprised us with the news that she’s having a baby. Our house has been filled with talk about the upcoming baby, especially questions about why they have to live so far away and when will summer come so the baby can live in Minnesota.
