READY FOR SPRING

We don't know about you all, but we have decided in our
house that we are most definitely ready for Spring!
An Erkenbrack Update:
  • Our household has been pretty crazy over the past month and a half. We've been trying diligently to keep up with all of the demands of work, home, kids and holidays! We enjoyed a fun Easter celebration - 1st at preschool, then at our house, then at Grandpa & Grandma's house, and finally at Grandpa Dean & Grandma Helen's house! I think we have enough candy to last us until next Easter! We've been trying to get outside when the weather allows, but the nice weather hasn't lasted long enough for us to get out our spring toys. We're thankful for the start of Gymnastics, which helps use up some of the spring fever energy!
  • We had our 41/2 year check up yesterday. Emma weighed in at 31 lbs and 38 inches, and Riley at 42 lbs and 43 inches. Emma is in the 15th percentile for weight and height (we were thankful that she finally made it on the chart!) and Riley is in the 90th percentile for height and weight! We're not sure where the height came from, but Ryan said we'll take it! As for Emma, she's not too disappointed. She says, "I like to be little!" That is an improvement, considering that for the past 2 years she has been asking why she can't return to infancy!! The Dr. chuckled when examining her. He said that he she's so thin that he can feel her back bone through her abdomen!

January is here!

January is here!
This picture was taken at the beginning of the month - when we could actually stand outside for more than 30 seconds without getting frostbite!
